I love how even though my body is technically two hours behind, I feel like I'm two hours ahead.

I blame moving. And staying up late every night this week.

And tomorrow I get up at 4:30 EDT to catch a train to Connecticut! Whoopee! (I keep telling myself it's a better choice than driving or flying...)

So I got back to CO today and found a stack of Christmas cards waiting for me! Hurrah for mail! (Too bad I was a bad person and didn't mail any cards. I'll make up for that somehow.) Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! And especial thanks to royalgeekg for coming to visit me on such a big birthday! I had a great day. A few pictures were taken at the party before the batteries died; I'll try to get them up later.

If I'm at a party and I start cleaning up...it means I'm either 1) not having a good time or 2) bored (which I suppose is a subset of #1). And it's time for me to go home.

But I had fun up until then!

My best friend from undergrad is getting married. Not anytime soon, she says, but she's engaged.
